Pool-Krete Premix is a quality blend of expanded vermiculite, portland cement, and admixtures designed to be mixed with water and troweled to form a long-lasting hard bottom for inground pools. The proper use of Pool-Krete will enhance the quality of the pool installation and prolong the life of the vinyl liner.

Pool Krete is a porous but rigid liner base, which offers numerous benefits to both the pool installer and the pool owner. With no waste and minimal clean up.

One bag of Pool-Krete covers approximately 10 square feet. The recommended thickness of the Pool-Krete should be between 1-1/2" to 2". The accuracy of the excavation will determine the number of bags of Pool-Krete needed for the job. If the hole is cut too deep or too large the requirements will increase.

A vinyl-lined pool is the most affordable choice and Pool-Krete® can help bring out its best. A foundation of sand/cement can quickly wear out the liner when every step is like taking sandpaper to the underside of the liner, but Pool-Krete®'s non-abrasive formula can add years to the life of a liner.

A Pool-Krete® in-ground Vinyl-lined pool is more attractive and easier to maintain than other installations. With sand, unsightly heel or footprints appear on the bottom. With either sand or sand/cement, ironing the sand rusts and bleeds through pinholes worn in the liner.
