Important Jandy Salt Cell Replacement Updates

Jandy recently switched to a 3-port cell design to aid in cleaning and plumbing flexibility and no longer makes 2-port cells. However, the Jandy PLC700 cell kit (for pools up to 12,000 gallons) and the PLC1400 (with a 40,000 gallon capacity) kit contain new cells as well as all the necessary accessories to switch a 2-port setup to the new design.

If you’re already using a 3-port cell and only need to replace the cell itself, either the R0452300 model (for pools up to 12,000 gallons) or the R0452400 (12,000-40,000 gallons) is perfect for you. The R0452300 also replaces the ChlorMatic 301 and AquaPure 700 cells, while the R0452400 is a replacement for the ChlorMatic 601 and the AquaPure 1400.

One more option is to consider generic equivalent cells made by CompuPool, another respected name which we also recommend based on its affordability and complimentary two-year warranty. CompuPool replacement cells are also available in the 2-port and newer 3-port designs, so there’s no need to buy a complete cell kit when the cell itself is sufficient for your needs.
